CAITLIN NORTON, LICSW

Caitlin Norton is a licensed independent clinical social worker who specializes in providing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to children and adolescents. She has experience working with youth with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and disruptive behaviors. Caitlin has been foundationally trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy with an adolescent and family emphasis (DBT-A). Ms. Norton is a PEERS certified provider. The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) provides evidence-based social skills treatment to adolescents, and young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, and other socio-emotional problems.


Ms. Norton participated in Boston College’s 5 year BA/MSW program. She graduated from Boston College’s Lynch School of Education with a B.A. in Applied Psychology and Human Development, a minor in Management & Leadership, and a concentration in Special Education. She completed her MSW with a clinical concentration in mental health. During her first year MSW training, Caitlin worked as a group and individual therapist at a private practice in Needham, working with children and adolescents primarily around social skills and anxiety management. Her second year MSW training was at The Gifford School in Weston providing school-based counseling for adolescents with social, emotional, and behavioral needs. 


Ms. Norton is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
