ELANA BAYER-PACHT,  PSYD

Dr. Elana Bayer-Pacht is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for adolescents and adults with anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), personality disorders, and depression. Dr. Bayer-Pacht is foundationally trained in DBT and has been trained in a variety of evidence-based treatments, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).


Dr. Bayer-Pacht graduated from Eckerd College in 2016 with a B.S. in Psychology and minors in Spanish and Anthropology. She received her Psy.D. in 2022 from William James College with a specialization in Global Mental Health. Throughout graduate school, Dr. Bayer-Pacht trained at several sites, including Massachusetts General Hospital Revere HealthCare Center where she received training in utilizing the Treatments That Work CBT series with adults with anxiety, OCD, depression, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and substance use disorders. 


Dr. Bayer-Pacht completed her predoctoral internship at Salem Hospital where she provided outpatient therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. During her internship, she received training in providing ERP and ACT to individuals with OCD and anxiety. Dr. Bayer-Pacht also completed a rotation on the pediatric inpatient unit where she led DBT skills groups that focused on mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness techniques.

Dr. Bayer-Pacht is a member of the Massachusetts Psychological Association (MPA), the American Psychological Association (APA), and the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA).
